Privacy Policy
Effective 24 August 2026
The short version
I collect the least I need to answer you, to send you what you asked for, and to run this site. I do not sell your information. You can leave my email list whenever you like, and you can ask me to delete what I hold.
Who I am
This site is run by me, Peter Tangel, trading as Precision Training, based in Peoria, Illinois.

Throughout this policy, "I" and "me" mean Peter Tangel and Precision Training. "The site" means ptxpt.com and its pages.
What I collect
When you fill in a form. My contact form, newsletter signup and coaching application are forms on this site. Depending on which one you use, I collect your name, email address, phone number, and whatever you choose to tell me in the message or application.
When you leave a review. If you use the review widget, I receive the review and whatever name you attach to it.
When you simply visit. Standard analytics: pages viewed, roughly where in the world you are by country, device and browser type, how long you stayed, and how you arrived. This is aggregated and I do not use it to work out who you are.
When you arrive from an ad or a tracked link. Which ad or link brought you, so I can tell what is worth running.
I do not collect payment details on this site. If you join ADAPT, payment is handled by Stripe through AppRabbit and I never see your card number.
Why I collect it
- To reply to you when you get in touch
- To send you the newsletter and updates you asked for
- To assess a coaching application and talk to you about it
- To understand which pages and which ads work, so this gets better rather than louder
- To meet legal obligations where they apply
I do not use your information to make automated decisions about you.
Who else sees it
Only the services I need to run this, and only for that purpose.

I may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety or my legal rights.
I do not sell your personal information, and I do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Cookies and tracking
This site uses cookies and similar storage for analytics and, if you came from an ad, for advertising measurement. Google Ads also stores a click identifier in your browser so a signup can be matched back to the ad that produced it.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work properly if you do.
You can also opt out of personalized Google advertising in Google's own ad settings, and out of Google Analytics using Google's opt-out browser add-on.
Your choices
Unsubscribe. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link and it works immediately.
Ask what I hold. Email me and I will tell you.
Ask me to correct it. If something is wrong, tell me and I will fix it.
Ask me to delete it. I will, unless I am legally required to keep it, for example transaction records.
You will not be treated differently for exercising any of these.
If you live in California
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected and why, to request deletion, to request correction, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
I do not sell personal information. Using Google Ads for advertising measurement and remarketing may count as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. If you would rather I did not, email me and I will exclude you, or use the Google ad settings link above.
To make any request, email peter@ptxpt.com from the address you gave me, so I can be reasonably sure it is you.
How long I keep it
Contact and application records for as long as you and I are in touch and for a reasonable period afterward. Newsletter subscribers until you unsubscribe. Analytics for the retention period Google applies. If you ask me to delete your information I will, subject to any records I am legally required to keep.
Security
I take reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect your information, and I rely on established providers who do the same. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so I cannot promise absolute security.
Children
This site and my coaching are for adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given me information, email me and I will delete it.
Other sites
This site links to other places, including my YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn. I am not responsible for their privacy practices. Read their policies if you are handing them information.
The ADAPT app
ADAPT has its own privacy policy covering the app and the free training week builder, at adapt.ptxpt.com/privacy. If you are a member, that one covers your use of the app.
Changes
I may update this policy. Any change is posted here with a new effective date, and material changes will be made obvious rather than slipped in.
